It's back to the roots and into the light as I continue with
commentary on my new reggae album called
Musically, it's a roots
reggae song with a pleasant cascading guitar solo which I hope you will
enjoy.
In
this present evil world of trouble and distress, there are many worthy
causes that people support in their attempt to make a difference.
There
are humanitarian causes, environmental causes, social justice
causes, and many groups and non-profits who attempt to make a dent in
the amount of bad in our world.
Personally,
I'd like to save every
child and stop diabetes and animal cruelty. But rather than
devote
myself to any single issue or cause, or even several of them, instead I
promote the Biblical teaching that we are to be consecrated, not to
world or self, but to Yahweh Himself. In so doing, we serve the
greatest cause in the history of earth - the cause of Christ and the
Kingdom.
Once
devoted to the greatest cause of all, we rest assured that all of the
other worthy causes on earth will be taken care of in due time by His
divine providence.
In order to consecrate it requires
evidence to compel one to choose which is the true faith to adhere
to.
Here is some of that evidence I hope will be considered prayerfully.
