file - 1.3 MB]Octaman sometimes ventures into social issues as well as religious. This one is a bit of both, and has a controversial theme. What is the result of the Iraq war? Regardless of your view of the right or wrong of the issue, one thing can't be denied: The Iraqi people are free. Iraq was the only nation that gave open financial support for suicide bomb attacks against Israel. From a religious standpoint we might say that nation was judged. The Iraq war has served to remove Iraq from the table of nations allied in the Ezekiel 38 showdown. This begs the question, does God allow some nations to punish other nations that He has judged? The moral question on the table could perhaps be discussed here on this forum: Saddam Hussein put people in shredding machines, and filled his country with mass graves. Was the U.S. wrong to stop it? last century saw the collapse of the divine right of kings and
communism in favor of more freedom and liberty. It is the opinion
of
this writer that we shall continue to see development along the same
lines as tyrants fall and people grasp on to their new found
rights.
The result will be anarchy for a time, but it will be followed by the
rule of a righteous Kingdom of Peace.
